By Tony Solorzano The CIF Southern Section announced yesterday the venue for Saturday’s Southeast Division Finals between La Serna and Downey has been changed from La Serna’s “home field,” California High’s Whittier District Field to Cal State Fullerton’s Titan Stadium. The game is scheduled to start at 7 pm Saturday.

By Tony Solorzano Whittier – Seven straight touchdowns put La Serna into the quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section’s Southeast Division playoffs with a 49-0 shut out of the division’s wild card team, Diamond Ranch, Friday night at California High’s Whittier District Field.
The Tri-Valley League champion, Bishop Diego, will not be hosting any playoff games during the 2012 CIF Southern Section’s Northwest Division playoffs, according to a report posted by Santa Barbara’s PresidioSports.com, published today. Bishop Diego will open the first round at South Torrance, one of the three At-Large teams in the bracket.
