Real Talk
Monrovia lost 3 games … including the last game to Rosemead. The Skills look Great, But the QB needs a lot of work….Scoby did not play, Jones did not play….and Few guys were at the track meet, and the some guys look like they were still at the prom. The only Bright spot was that Monrovia lost to Upland 14-10. I was surprised because they were behind Upland dbs all day but QB couldn’t get them the ball.
So Basically, I gave them D + on day. I look forward to getting everyone out there with a few practices there belts.

What the heck!!! Rosemead beat Monrovia in the CO tourney. Rosemead must have really turned it around in a week because they looked horrible against Baldwin Park and Monkeyellow I’m mean Montebello…

By the way, two of three of Vaugns td’s came on runs from scrimmage, one was from a long run on a fly sweep and the other was a sweep on a short field set up by a turnover. The third Vaugns td was the fumble return.

To me, that is the difference right there. You can add all the Muir and Monrovia players you want but it would not have changed the conditon in the trenches that night, that is why I think the East still wins even if both teams had all their players. The addition of the Monrovia linebacking pair most likely would have been nullified by the East adding Velasquez and Houser, and the speed threats that Monrovia and Muir would have added could have been equaled by the addition of Blue, Daniels, and Austin. But your right, having these types of players on the field could certainly change the game either way. Which way is unknown thats why I say it is what it is.
I tell you what though, I think that qb from Garfield may have been the best qb on the field for that night.
