(“The Ten” is not a top ten, but ten items worth being included in The TEN)

1.  Los Angeles Galaxy will face Manchester United tomorrow night at the Rose Bowl.

2.  Mike Trout is batting .475 with runners in scoring position since May 19th.

3. Steve Ballmer and Donald Sterling meet to discuss pending sale of the Clippers

4. Tampa Catholic High receiver Nate Craig chooses Auburn over USC, Alabama and Ohio State

5. Colony enters its third season with Steve Randall at the helm, they are 16-9 (11-1 in league) and were knocked out of the semifinals last season.

6. Linfield Christian last won a CIF title in football in 2009 going undefeated and beating Rio Hondo for the Northeast Division crown.

7. Campbell Hall played an abbreviated schedule in 2013, JV in 2012, but in 2011 went 7-3 and failed to make the playoffs as the Alpha League 3rd place team as Brentwood went 4-2 in league.

8.  Triple Crown winning jockey Ron Turcotte turns 73 and Former USC Wide Receiver Keyshawn Johnson turns 42 today.

9.  Twenty years ago today, The Seattle Mariners played a home game against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park as the Kingdome was being repaired.
