Chris Stevens makes the move from Monrovia to Chino Hills

Chris Stevens has resigned at Monrovia to take the head coaching position at Chino Hills Monrovia AD Randy Bell confirmed Monday. 

The Wildcats went 18-6 under Stevens the last two years, advancing to the second round of the Central Division playoffs each time.

He replaces Matt Bechtel who left CH for South Hills earlier this winter. Bechtel went 25-10 for the Huskies, advancing to the semifinals in 2015. Bell said the search for a head coach will begin immediately.
