(Culver City) – Former Downey/Pasadena quarterback Jorge Reyna has committed to Fresno State Reyna confirmed Sunday. 

Reyna led Downey to the CIF Southeast Division Championship as a sophomore in 2012 as the Vikings beat La Serna 33-25 in a rainy December night at Cal Sate Fullerton. Reyna spent the next year at Downey as well before transferring to Pasadena for his senior season.

Reyna, 6-2, 205, has spent the last two seasons at West LA College. This past season, in 10 games, Reyna threw for 3,646 yards and 39 touchdowns and a completion rate of 70.5 percent. Reyna is the first recruit of new HC Jeff Tedford.

“I will be a Fresno St. Bulldog!” Reyna said via Twitter.
