3.) Los Angeles Dodgers southpaw, Hyun Jin Ryu has allowed just -run in 5-innings of work this spring

4.) Former USC fullback/current South El Monte O-line coach Mike Mooney turns 47.

5.) Oakland Raiders sign TE Jared Cook.

6.) Miami Police report says late Miami Marlins pitcher, Jose Fernandez was at controls of power boat that ran into a jetty at 2:AM that killed him and two others last September. Fernandez had twice legal alcohol limit with a blood alcohol count of .147, and cocaine in his system.

7.) Indiana fires Tom Crean.

8.) On this day in 1970, Peter O’Malley becomes CEO of the Los Angeles Dodgers

9.) Tim Tebow batting .214 in 14 at-bats for New York Mets this spring.

    Petes not going anywhere. They love him at Montebello and for good reason. He treats his coaches with the utmost respect, he helps other coach at well, and he built a great program. Pete did it the right way and will do it even better if they let him go.

    Any truth that Pete Gonzalez is gonna be fired from his teaching spot at the school. Just heard that he along with many others got a pink slip. I wounder if he would stay of as a walk on coach if it help up. Bet he is kicking himself in the DELETED for not taking that Cantwell job now.

    Don’t know how much Alford values the Indiana job, but it’s pretty certain he doesn’t value the meddling of Lavar Ball, something that’s a given if he stays in Westwood.
