LA hosted the CIF Championship game in 2016 with well over 3,000 plus. An All Star isn’t that important compared to a hosting a CIF Championship.

These games are a lot of fun. First, it is played on a warm May night and all the good players are competing against each other for the last time in high school. I was at last years game and it came down to the last play. CDField was hopping, nice venue and I am sure this game will be the same. I guess there will be about 2,500 to 3,000 fans at the game. It’s a nice Friday night out watching good players run around representing their school colors one more time.

Nobody goes to these games anymore so Schurr should be able to accommodate the amount of people who will actually attend.

Obviously we all have an opinion to comment on here. So all these comments about where to best play the game is fine. Now if you have a better option or resolution to where would be better to play the game, then get involved and help. Trust me the game being played at Schurrs small stadium will make the stadium looked packed. I’m sure the kids would rather have a packed house than a big stadium with not enough people to fill it up.

Schurr stadium is not a good venue to highlight all stars. I think the last one was at CDF which was rebuilt with better parking and lighting. Nearby Pioneer Stadium is the best place nearby. Officials should consider moving this game IMO.

First of all there are no holes on ER’s field, if anything it has a crown in the middle which is typical of a natural grass field and it’s needed for drainage purposes. 2nd of all you’re soft af

You’re right, but it would at least accommodate enough people. Wait for the new stadium that is about to break ground though, people will want to see that one.

Pioneer would bee a good location to host a game like this… has the capacity to fit everyone.. or cal high. .. you can also use El Ranchos since its the largest stadium aside form the two above .

pioneer is best, and its right off the 605

Isn’t Los Altos Stadium and West Covina Stadium smaller than Schurr? They’ve had it at those two the past years, only difference is it’s prob gonna be easier to see the game from outside the fence back of the end zone.

Who are the receivers? Also let’s give the lineman some love too. I think Tapia and Tovar have had their fair share of the spotlight already. Let’s give the biggies some shine.

We just meet with the coaches today and had are physicals to play in the game. The game organizers introduced himself at coach Spathias. He went over the rules and logistics and said the game will be played at Schurr High School on May 11th Friday at 7:30pm. Lance from Schurr, Tapia from Montebello and a host of studs on the Southside. Looks like southside has the upper hand.

April 14 marks the anniversary of the Titanic’s sinking, which coincides with the Los Altos failure to host an important football game. Maybe James Cameron will someday lead an expedition to Hacienda Heights to discover the ruins of the Conquerors’ program.

Is the National Football Foundation sponsoring the game again? If so, that’s great that they are stepping up again.
