Rosemead last year had a RB/MLB #33 , that after missing his first 5.5 games, came back to score over 14 TD’s, 937+ yrds, 7 two-point conv.and over 53+ TFL on Defense in the remaining 4.5 games, seen him chopping it up with S.Tovar when tovar went 2000+ yrds back to back, rumor has it, the boy found conviction and is exercising his Academics. Im all for grades and all , but that kid can sure play, probably would’ve been an 1800-2000+yd RB this year easily, son tells me he sees him in the weight room and he’s easily amassed 10-15lbs of muscle….DAMN.!!

No!! please plan LA’s championship party, reserve the banquet hall now!! You parents are the funniest people around. All of you are taking a front row seat riding the new transfers coat tails. Our transfers are amazing young players, the fault is with our crooked system. These kids will shine where ever they play unfortunately they aren’t HH Conquerors

The reality is Los Altos will compete for 4th place in the Hacienda league with West Covina. Top 3 in no particular order are Diamond Ranch, South Hills and Charter Oak.

If you two clowns would like, I can set up a Junior Varsity football team blog where you two can spew your negativity on. How does that sound? Obviously, you haven’t a clue about what the varsity team is doing. Let me know.

@my two cents, even with no coaching this team has way too much talent to win less than 6 games…
But I know what you’re saying.

@john doe…you are so right, it’s only a couple whining, hating parents who cant except the fact that there kids dont have the talent to be starters. I think once the pads come will see who’s who, all we can do is support our coach and team. Not try to ruin the year like some of our own LA parents.

@John Doe your percentage is off. 99% is a very high number. You can type anything on here. Nice school spirit. You must be one of the new parents.

Coach Brown, 99% of our parents are behind you and the boys! We wish you nothing but the best this upcoming season. Go Conqs! I’d like to apologize to the players and the coaching staff at LA on behalf of the naysayers and haters who are downright disrespectful to the kids. They’ve had to endure 2 coaching changes in about a year, negativity and drama, through no fault of their own. Rest assured Conq Nation is behind you guys all the way!

And make no mistake about… At Los Altos, the parents run the program. They never warmed up to Spathias so he was gone. Spathias far exceeded expectations but I do agree you can’t have so many coaches not present during the week. But just as a coach Spathias so much better than brown

Travis Brown can get all the transfers he wants. Coaching still has to be done. IMO he hasn’t shown he can do that. At Duarte, he had the best talent by far… and couldn’t win league. At Cantwell in D13 he got out coached despite having at least a dozen transfers and once again probably having the best talent in the entire D13 division but couldn’t win. When you enter That league where you won’t have the talent advantage I believe he’ll be exposed. Factor in some of the those coaches are the brightest in the area. Could be a long season for Los Altos. First test will be Covina, if Los Altos doesn’t come out an beat Covina by at least three scores those Parents will really rev up the heat.

    1. As a parent myself I learned something LONG ago. A 16-17 year olds brain does not see things like an adult does. They view the universe as having themselves in the middle.
    2. While I would always listen to my kids “views” of what they perceive as a wrong, I would get the facts for myself before getting all worked up.
    3. Coaches today are hired to win. Period. That means with their best weapons. Their lively-hoods depend on it. Their measly stipends are not paid to make parents happy, but I have never met one who was not willing to lend a sympathetic ear to any parents concerns. Listening to does not equal agreeing with.
    4. At what point in your childs life does a parent stop trying to control it and learn to sit back and let them learn to cope on their own? Do you go into your kids work and complain to their boss because they didn’t get a raise? How would that go over? Coaches are human, and despite what you have learned about the squeaky wheel gets the grease it’s sometimes easier to replace the wheel then keep greasing bad bearings.
    5. Discontent is like a mighty oak seed. Once it takes root….

Amen…perfectly said..but no matter how much sence you make and points your prove these cry baby parents will keep whining. Only one thing can keep whiners quite and that’s winning but from what I’m seeing these whining LA parents will still cry cause baby boy is not playing enough snaps or starting for them to brag about on friday nights…

Coming on this board some days reminds me of 3 important things.
    1. Football would be great without parents.
    2. Trainers are not at practices and games to help patch up the kids if needed. They are there to remove the knives out of the coaches backs.
    3. If Under-Armour develops a knife proof coaches shirt they will make a bundle.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled rants already in progress.

The comparison is irrelevant. Teenage boys in the US are nothing like the boys from Thailand. From division 1 to division 13 they are all spoiled rotten in comparison
