@Pacific?, CV is CV, they won’t beat themselves and anyone who beats them will have to play a good game for 48 minutes.

@FBFan, not a St. Paul fan but I do think they have a pretty good team this year and have beaten some pretty good competitions. Paraclete has a great sports program and is tough for anyone to beat in any sport.

Muir made too many mistakes, CV’s qb went through them like a buzzsaw. He’s going to do the same to Burbank, and all the rest of the Pacific especially Arcadia. CV’s coaching staff has to be one of the best around! They just out coach teams all the way around. If you go to one of their games you know what I am talking about.

A few tho thoughts on this week:
    1. Looks like Medrano beat Aguilar and won “The Former Battle for D Street”
    2. St. Paul is overrated
    3. La a Serna has the best program around
    4.

Cathedral went toe to toe with Amat. Bishop Amat is well coached and battle tested. The Phantoms made a few mistakes and the game would have been closer. This game will help the phantoms come playoff time. The Ref’s were also horrible and clearly were home team ref’s. The Phantoms moved on Amat most of the time.

This LS dude does not represent La Serna… I would think people would be smart enough to recognize that. We haven’t won anything yet and the people that matter know that. I’m surprised that T. Peterson and company allow this “Build A Wall” talk exist on their site.

Games went as predicted. Nothing to learn from last night. You can’t even count out 0-5 Santa Fe. They have played a ferocious schedule compared to the other teams fighting for 2nd and 3rd. As of now I give Whittier the edge for 2nd with the other 3 a toss up. I will be interested to see if taking a beating every week toughens you up for league or if playing cupcakes and having your starters sit on the bench makes you lazy for league. It is football. I go with the tough schedule.

Two of the teams which have traditionally been good as gold, West Covina and Charter Oak, now appear as sad sacks, ripe for the taking. West Covina in particular is in an embarrassing situation, celebrating the opening of their new stadium with a team that
doesn’t measure up to the surroundings.
