Monrovia Jr QB Nick Hernandez has been pretty amzing past 4 weeks
    12 of 15 245 Yards 4tds – S. Pasadena (W)
    10 of 14 254 Yards 4 tds – Temple City (W)
    18 of 24 252 Yards 3 tds – Covina (L)
    14 of 19 293 Yards 2 tds – Valley Christian ( W)
    1,044 Passing yards
Needless to say Monrovia found their guy. Having AJ as a back up is pretty awesome also. Speaking of Careon he’s been doing an excellent job playing On Defense and offense. Rams and Mayes are a great tandem at RB. Frank Hernandez at 6’3″ 295 pounds is more than a hand full at WR! He’s shown that he demands more than one defender to bring him down. He’s a real stud. Go Wildcats!

    Hey Phily B,
Monrovia looks pretty shaky this year, I think La Serna has more of a lock on the Del Rio
than Monrovia in the Rio Hondo, your forgetting about San Marino.

La Serna could beat Servite and Orange Lutheran!!! That is so funny,
LS you either don’t have a clue, or like the other La Serna fans are saying, you must be posing as a fan to stir the pot for other teams in the Del Rio, I pick the latter.
I have respect for La Serna, they have beaten some div. 2 and 3 teams every so often, but there is not a single team in the Trinity that La Serna could stay within 3 touchdowns with this year.

“Better check this fool”. Man I have not had a challenge like that since I got an urge for Jim’s fried chicken and parked my white BMW on Telegraph. I took two steps out when 5 little guys pulled up in their Hundai and yelled at me “Where you from”. Well Clubber I took my cue and split back to the hills without my chicken. You win. I have too much to lose and you don’t.

    LS,

@PB&J. Looking forward to a El Rancho-La Serna title game? Now that is ambitious. The Donna’s still have to get by Cal and Santa Fe. Yeah they beat Whittier but my scouts tell me Whittier gave that game away. Cal or Santa Fe will beat you guys, maybe both. If by some miracle it ends up a title game I’am very curious what the score prediction is from the other side of the tracks. Mine is 56-3 LS…………..at the half.

Have you lost your mind Fool! Any given week your beloved team la serna can beat! And your scouts?? You don’t have scouts fool! You just have unsupported thoughts in your head that you can’t prove! I didn’t know you are football nostrodamus! Maybe you need to get some mental health because you don’t know the outcome of ER’s next two opponents! No One Does Fool! True humble LS supports better check this fool! Before I have to!

This LS stuff is nonsense, I know a lot of people over there and never have they been arrogant or shown any lack of class, this dude is trying to stir the pot maybe trying to motivate others, no one needs the extra motivation if the DRL teams can’t get up for the task that is LS then they shouldn’t even be playing the game.

Even if ER makes it to week 10 at 3-0 they know that LS game is going to be an extremely difficult game.

Good luck to all teams and stay safe, I keep hearing about lots of bad news in the DRL.

    Sure!!
We all know what you’re trying to do and it won’t work. Just to let me know, Coach G has a record of 25-2 in the last five years. He’s not going anywhere. Just another Schurr troll trying to stir the pot. A lot of football remains. Let see who sacks up in the final weeks!!
From: T. Peterson: Yes I did delete your comment about Jude Oliva. It’s just negative speculation and not factual. But FYI you have no clue how many negative comments I’ve deleted about Pete Gonzalez. It’s probably at least 2-1, maybe more, over negative comments I’ve deleted about other coaches. Some of them are downright ruthless. I’ve deleted several just today alone. I won’t let them go through. I respect Coach Gonzalez and think he does a great job at Montebello. So the next time you start to write something about me “protecting” someone or being a “homer” keep in mind that I delete all comments that tear down a coach’s character, Montebello, Schurr or otherwise.

The Del Rio League is locked up by La Serna! The battle is for 2nd place and the guaranteed spot for playoffs between El Rancho and Whittier. El Rancho has the inside track already beating Whittier but El Rancho still has to play Cal (should be a win for El Rancho).
The Almont League is a complete toss up right now. Schurr has the early edge because of their win over Alhambra but Schurr, Alhambra, and Bell Gardens control their own destiny and can win a Almont League championship while Montebello needs help to still win a Almont League championship,

Taking the wins and losses in stride, and learning from both, is a key element to success in sports.
Our guys showed a lot of character last night. Coming off a last-minute loss to Schurr, they easily could’ve quit when they were down, 16-0, late in the second quarter.
AHS has three games left in the regular season, and the Moors will focus on each opponent, one at a time. We’re taking nothing for granted; Bell Gardens is always a particularly tough adversary.
Our coaches and players have worked hard, and, so far, their efforts have been rewarded with success. But, we still have a long way to go.
