(Hacienda Heights) – Los Altos seven-footer Jazz Gardner has transferred to West Ranch his father Jelani Gardner announced on Twitter Friday. Jazz’ younger brother Jai is also transferring.

Jazz Gardner, who will be a senior in the fall, has received several Division 1 offers which include USC, Dayton, Pepperdine, St. Mary’s, Kansas and Illinois. Jai Gardner is the class of ’25.

“The Gardner family would like to thank Los Altos HS for a great 3 years. We created history together! With that being said, due to change of work location we will be moving to Stevenson Ranch and my sons will attend West Ranch HS next year,” Jelani Gardner posted on Twitter.

Jazz Gardner averaged 19 points, 13 rebounds and nearly three blocks per game last season.

It will be at Los Altos HS next season. Unfortunetly their team will completely plummet with graduation/transfers from a top area team with 5 straight undefeated league titles to a team that will be lucky to win 10 games and make playoffs unless they have some new transfers coming in..

This piece reads like an obituary. Will there be a burial or cremation?
