Doubt that La Serna would be awarded a forfeit win and move on. More like double disqualification, if anything…
17 to 14…now that’s the way baseball should be played, with liberal use of, you know, the BASES. The way most games go, the bases only wind up being used for 3 or 4 minutes out of the 2-3 hour session. I’m guessing that either the pitching was bad or the hitters were all on a high, but I’ll take it. Best of luck to Alhambra in the next round.
As an aside, I noticed the bench clearing deal during the Moorpark game. Don’t really care about it, but wouldn’t it be cool for Alhambra’s baseball field to have that name MOORPARK?
Alhambra 17, Mary Star of the Sea 14.
Wow, that’s a slow-pitch softball score! Perhaps the wind was blowing outward in San Pedro…
Good luck to AHS in the second round!
If it is up to WUHSD game will be awarded to La Serna along with a gold medal and rings.
What will CIF office decide on the bench clearing incident during the La Serna v Moorpark that had all of Moorpark clear the bench?
