(Montebello, CA) The Schurr Spartans traveled a few blocks south to take on their Almont League rival Friday night in the Backyard Brawl. Schurr jumped out to an early 35-0 lead and held on in the second half for a 49-28 win over the Oilers at Montebello High School.

(Hacienda Heights) – San Dimas dominated from start to finish and shut out Los Altos 29-0 Friday night in a Valle Vista League contest. The win left the Saints in a three-way tie for first in the Valle Vista but by virtue of a coin flip San Dimas goes into the playoffs as the number one team.

(Burbank) -Burroughs routed Burbank 48-13 Friday night to win the city rivalry. With the victory the Bears wrapped up the Pacific League title with a perfect record of 5-0. They finished the regular season 9-1 overall. They will now wait until Sunday to see where they land in the CIF Playoffs.

We have a tie. The Monrovia Wildcats defeated the Titans, 29-24, and secured a third of the 2023 Rio Hondo League Championship, at San Marino’s Titan Field.
