(Pasadena) – The John Muir Mustangs had their way with the Pasadena Bulldogs Wednesday evening, winning the 76th edition of the annual “Turkey Tussle”, held at the Rose Bowl, by a score of 45-0

Due to a fight at the end of the Rosemead-Gabrielino game Friday night both teams were suspended and had to forfeit this week’s games. The only Mission Valley League game this week is South El Monte at Mt. View.

(Montebello) – The Schurr Spartans scored early and managed to hold off several challenges from the visiting South El Monte Eagles, winning 12-6 in Monday afternoon’s Ladies 7 on 7 Flag Football contest in the friendly confines of Ken Davis Field.

(Los Angeles) – Cole Becker kicked 38-yard field goal as time expired to give Utah a 34-32 win over USC Saturday night at United Airlines Field at the LA Memorial Coliseum. The Trojans had taken the lead with 1:46 left on an 11-yard touchdown run by Caleb Williams but Utah was able to move the ball down to the USC 20 and Becker hit the game winner.

(La Verne, CA) – On a warm October evening with the winner grabbing a stranglehold on the Baseline League title, the Damien Spartans and the Rancho Cucamonga Cougars battled for the full 48 minutes and the difference in the 36-35 score? The Spartans went for two and Isaiah Arriaza’s pass was intercepted in the endzone to erase whatever hope the Damien faithful were holding on to.
