(San Marino) -The La Canada Spartans improved to 6-0 Friday evening, defeating the host Temple City Rams, 35-0, in the Rio Hondo League opener for both teams, on the grounds of San Marino High School.

Not a lot of movement this week as several teams had byes. Northview continues to dominate and Charter Oak had a big win as well. St. Paul, Bishop Amat and La Serna all struggled against tough opponents. Muir looks better every week while Rio Hondo Prep suffered its first defeat. San Dimas jumps Monrovia with a rout of the Wildcats.
