(Covina) – It happened again…almost. Again West Covina led by double digits in the fourth quarter and again Covina came roaring back. But unlike last year, this time the Bulldogs survived and beat the Colts 26-20 in overtime Saturday night at Covina District Field.

We’ve hit the dead period for several area high school football teams. Although there is no set dead period now with the new CIF rules in place most teams still go dark in late July and into early August.
