So for six months the NBA news revolves around Dwight Howard and it turns out he’s not going anywhere. Yes he’s arguably the best center in the league but he’s also the most indecisive. The latest news on Howard has him opening his own waffle house when he retires.

It’s been a memorable week in sports – especially here in Southern California. And no I’m not talking about the Dodgers signing of Aaron Harang. There was the CIF Finals in the Mid-Valley and Southeast Divisions, big news out of Anaheim, and Los Angeles and there is a new chief in Westwood.

The Peterson Principle 5/9/11

Yes I did watch the entire Laker game on Sunday. I’m also into caning, flogging, electric shock and Chinese water torture. It was ugly – one of the ugliest losses in Laker playoff history, along with game six at Boston in the 2008 Finals.

It’s not that shocking that the Lakers lost to New Orleans in game one of their playoff series. What is shocking is that numerous pundits, and nearly all radio talk show hosts thought that a Laker sweep was a foregone conclusion.

By Matt Schuler David Defeats Goliath  In a match up of top ranked Montebello (24-3) and Almont’s second place team Keppel (19-6), the Oilers were dealt their first loss in league 50-49 and only their third defeat of the season 27 games in.
