(Glendale) – Usually Maranatha wins it with a high powered offense. Saturday night it was the defense that finished the job in a 34-20 win over Village Christian in Olympic League action at Glendale High.

Crown City Classic Goes to Maranatha

(Pasadena) – For the second consecutive week, La Salle was out-muscled by an Olympic League opponent that exposed their undersized line and linebackers as Maranatha won 38-7.

Lancers Down Minutemen, 67-50

(Pasadena) – A formula of hot shooting from the field in the first quarter for La Salle and ice-cold shooting from Maranatha allowed the Lancers to advance to the quarterfinals of Division 4A playoffs with a 67-50 victory.
