By Johnathan Saller (Cerritos) – Valley Christian’s keep away offense paid dividends with a rushing attack which featured running back Jaylen Raye who rushed for 175 yards on 30 carries in the win over Maranatha at Crusaders Field Friday night.

Maranatha High School is a perfect setting for a football game. There’s new field turf, and the stands are filled with rabid Minutemen fans. The visitors’ side isn’t bad either but its just not as roomy as it is for the home team.

(Pasadena) – All of Maranatha’s weapons were on display in a 47-28 win over Azusa Friday night on its home field. The Minutemen accumulated over 500 total yards on offense including 371 yards passing and five touchdowns from Andrew Elffers.

(Pasadena) It was a successful debut for first year Head Coach Pete Karavedas as the Maranatha Minutemen posted a resounding 41-12 win over the visiting Big Bear Bears Friday night on the campus of Maranatha High School.
