Temple City Selects Shettleroe

By Tim Peterson (Temple City)- Temple City has named South Pasadena assistant Marc Shettleroe as its head coach sources confirmed Friday. Shettleroe spent the last four years at South Pasadena as an assistant working mainly with the offensive line.

Haven’t we seen this before? The Raiders win a big early season game over a possible contender and all the silver and black honks come crawling out of the woodwork proclaiming that they are ready to make a Super Bowl run.

First Down Means First Win for Rams

(Glendale) – Nick Starling picked up a first down on a  fourth and two run with two minutes left to seal a 15 -14 Temple City win over Hoover Thursday night at Moyse Field. Starling rushed for another first down 90 seconds later and the Rams ran out the clock to get their first win of the year.

El Monte isn’t going to have a hard time scoring against anybody. You get the feeling that Brandon Martinez is going to get the ball in the endzone, throwing or passing or any other way every time he touches the ball.

Junior Marqus Valenzuela has taken over at quarterback after a terrific summer. He is joined by Temple City transfer Mikal Quintanilla.
