The Knights need to step on the accelerator a bit to keep an edge and avoid a first round flame out. Everyone is afraid of M-Town. The playoffs start this week for Temple City against South Pas this Wednesday&#8230;And for El Monte and Rosemead this Friday. The losers can essentially just start turning in gear&#8230;<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>1.) Monrovia (7-2) &#8211; Time to re-evaluate. There is trouble right here in M-Town&#8230;They gave up seven points last week&#8230;Wade Phillips is available now&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2.) Arroyo (8-1) &#8211; Sheer terror can be having your car broke down in Pomona, a visit with the tax guy, or an uncle selling Amway&#8230;Add Steven Rivera scrambling out of the backfield to this list.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.) Arcadia (6-3) &#8211; This team is on such a roll offensively that it can go for Myles and Myles. It can go for Myles and Myles&#8230;Who wants the Apaches in the first round?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4.) Rosemead (6-3) &#8211; The way people talk about Mead you would think they were 3-6 and not the other way around. Showdown with Lions this week should be MVL epic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.) Temple City (4-5) &#8211; Folks in the Home of the Camellias are excited about a playoff birth. But first must excercise the ghosts in South Pasadena&#8230;where they were knocked out of the playoffs a year ago by LC.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>6.) El Monte (4-5) &#8211; Run Michael Jimenez until he drops, run him right into second place, post season, &amp; history.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7.) Alhambra (4-5) &#8211; Joshua Mendoza brings new meaning to \u201cMendoza Line\u201d. The Moors will be a tough team to cross for the next couple of years.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>8.) Mountain View (5-4) &#8211; It\u2019s been a great run, but for the Vikings and Cinderella it is about to come to an end&#8230;This Friday Knight they have a date with doomsday&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>9.) San Gabriel (4-5) &#8211; If Montebello loses to Keppel and the Mats beat Schurr&#8230;SG takes third place&#8230;They would also be 5-5&#8230;And Big Tony will say no to the next buffet offered<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>10.) Gabrielino (3-6) &#8211; A long, long, long time ago&#8230;I can still remember&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>11.) South El Monte (1-8) &#8211; It is time to say&#8230;SAYONARA!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>12.)
