Got a tip, did the follow up, but still haven\u2019t found any truth to the rumor that Green Bay Packers General Manager Ted Thompson called Arroyo cornerback Mike Amaya at halftime to see if he was available.<\/p>\n

The commercials were weak…And on Super Bowl Sunday I don\u2019t really want to be around people who say they are just into it for the commercials…<\/p>\n

Loved the slomo on Rashard Mendenhall\u2019s eyes as Clay Matthews drove him one way and the ball went the other. I\u2019d like to think the 2008 and 2009 seasons were running through his mind and how much he let my fantasy football team down. Payback baby!<\/p>\n

Last Add Weak Commercials: Nothing, not weak commercials, the Black Eyed Peas, or Christina Aguilera\u2019s ghastly national anthem performance can turn me off to football\u2026but horrible flags like the ones thrown against the Packers Nick Collins could drive me away\u2026<\/p>\n

Ridiculous.<\/p>\n

It reminded me of a prehistoric time when marbles were the rage. I was horrible at marbles, but a dude could enhance his reputation by purchasing a large bag of marbles at Thrifties and then find a chump, or two, to beat.<\/p>\n

Mine was a squirt at least two grades behind me…just as I\u2019m taking him to the cleaners the teacher on the yard, a Miss Toby, stops the game and says that everyone playing marbles now has to play for \u201cfunsies\u201d…SAY WHAT!<\/p>\n

She said \u201cFunsies\u201d…The new policy for the school was marbles could no longer be played \u201cFor Keeps\u201d…but for \u201cFunsies\u201d…Kids and some parents were getting upset. Oh and certain teachers didn\u2019t think it was \u201cfair\u201d…Because some were better than others.<\/p>\n

Can I tell you what happened to the marble game after that? It was done…<\/p>\n

What was Nick Collins flagged for? For hurting the feelings of his opponent? Do we have to stop the game for the sad sacks who live 24\/7 on feelings?<\/p>\n
