The Mid: Are you getting anxious for it all to start up again?<\/p>\n

Ellis McCarthy: Yeah I am, can’t wait.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Mid: You guys just pumping iron now?<\/p>\n

Ellis McCarthy: We started three weeks ago\u2026I gotta couple more offers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Mid: So who has offered you?<\/p>\n

Ellis McCarthy: Florida, Washington, USC, UCLA, and Cal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Mid: Is the recruiting still fun? Or is it becoming a distraction? Some guys have told us in the past it was great and then it really started to annoy them.<\/p>\n

Ellis McCarthy: No it\u2019s not a distraction at all. I’m glad with the choices I have and can’t wait to get more.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Mid: As a senior are you fearful of some of the guys, or the team, losing the hunger? After losing to San Dimas it was easy to be angry and come back for 2010, but now you guys are champs…Do you guys still have an edge?<\/p>\n

Ellis McCarthy: I\u2019ll never forget that game (San Dimas final) so I\u2019m still kind of mad for that and my teammates are too. Now being CIF champs teams are gonna come after us so we have to work 10 times harder.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Mid: Thanks for your time.<\/p>\n
