Bonita takes over the top spot by going undefeated in the Charter Oak tournament.<\/p>\n

Lots of good softball played this week, which will be highlighted on Monday\u2019s \u201cIn the Circle\u201d column.<\/p>\n

Some new teams enter the rankings while the top-five spots jumble with the biggest riser being Bishop Amat.<\/p>\n

  1. Bonita (11-2) \u2013 Bearcats pitcher Anissa Sanchez has pitched in every game this season.<\/li>\n
  2. South Hills (7-3) \u2013 Loss to Northview in Charter Oak Tournament derailed chances of meeting Bonita.<\/li>\n
  3. Glendora (7-3) \u2013 Upset losses to La Serna and San Dimas dropped the Tartans off the top.<\/li>\n
  4. Crescenta Valley (4-1) \u2013 Opening loss in High Desert Classic not the way Falcons envisioned tournament to start.<\/li>\n
  5. La Canada (3-3) \u2013 No playing favorites, Spartans swept by good West Ranch club.<\/li>\n
  6. Charter Oak (7-4) \u2013 In between tournament schedule, lost in first league game to Ayala.<\/li>\n
  7. La Serna (6-2) \u2013 Young team upset Glendora and dismantled Northview.<\/li>\n
  8. Bishop Amat (7-1) \u2013 Not drinking Lancer kool-aid just yet.<\/li>\n
  9. Northview (6-4) \u2013 Two straight tough outings for Ana Mejia.<\/li>\n
  10. Montebello (7-2) \u2013 Surprising start to Oilers season with appearance in Arroyo Tournament.<\/li>\n
  11. San Marino (3-2) \u2013 Can Titans hit as well as they pitch?<\/li>\n
