Arroyo Coach D.J. MacKinnon likes his chances in the MVL <\/p><\/div>\n

It\u2019s still early. League play just started for most schools\u00a0while others will get underway next week. There have been several Tournaments played but those are just warm up games for more\u00a0important things. We\u2019ve read plenty of e mails and posts pining for our Baseball Top 25 so here you go. Please keep in mind this is subject to change on a weekly (daily?) basis. Let the arguments begin.<\/p>\n

1. Crescenta Valley (5-1) \u2013 Already knocked off Monrovia, Glendora and Charter Oak.<\/p>\n

2. Nogales (6-1) \u2013 Beat Northview; best team so far in the strong Valle Vista.<\/p>\n

3. Bishop Amat (6-2) \u2013 Rio Ruiz hitting .524.<\/p>\n

4. Charter Oak (4-1) \u2013 Bounced back from CV loss with three big wins.<\/p>\n

5. Bonita (5-2) \u2013 Justin Garza 0.37 ERA in 19 innings.<\/p>\n

6. Valley Christian (7-1) \u2013 Sam Raffaelli has 11 ribbies in six games.<\/p>\n

7. Damien (3-3) \u2013 Three losses all to top teams. Beat South Hills in league opener.<\/p>\n

8. South Hills (4-2) \u2013 Tyler France leads an explosive attack.\u00a0<\/p>\n

9. Los Altos (4-3) \u2013 Conquerors have quality wins over Northview and San Dimas.<\/p>\n

10. Northview (3-3) \u2013 Coach Darren Murphy always has Vikes in the hunt.<\/p>\n

11. Arcadia (4-2) \u2013 Erik Trask and K.J. Edson headline a solid pitching staff.<\/p>\n

12. San Dimas (4-3) \u2013 Brandon Yepiz makes the offense go.<\/p>\n

13. Glendora (4-2) \u2013 Tartans good bet in Baseline; 2-0 in league.<\/p>\n

14. La Salle (6-2) \u2013 Ace Bowdien Derby \u2013 cool name, better ERA (.067).<\/p>\n

15. Alhambra (6-2) \u2013 Moors have won six straight after two early losses.<\/p>\n

16. Whittier Christian (6-2) \u2013 Open league with 10-0 rout of Maranatha.<\/p>\n

17. Temple City (4-2) \u2013 Julian Jarrard is the ace of\u00a0staff; is there enough offensively?<\/p>\n

18. Monrovia (3-3-1) \u2013 Lost\u00a0doubleheader to CV; open league play this week.<\/p>\n
