DIVISION 2<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

La Mirada<\/strong> at Beckman \u2013 Amber Hickman<\/strong> provided the power and Brenda Bresnahan<\/strong> shut down the high powered Bearcats to reach the quarterfinals. Rochelle Sablay<\/strong> continues to impress at the plate for the Matadores.<\/p>\n

Shanelle Harrell<\/strong> and Lauren Bennett<\/strong> have been swinging a hot bat for Patriots. Harrell pitched a solid game against Lakewood in her win to reach the quarters. Emma Willenborg <\/strong>went 2-for3 in a winning cause for Beckman.<\/p>\n

DIVISION 3<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Oaks Christian at St. Lucy\u2019s<\/strong> \u2013 Dani O\u2019Toole <\/strong>pitched her second consecutive shutout in the playoffs to up end Highland to reach the \u201cround of eight\u201d for a shot at a semi-final bid.<\/p>\n

A four-homer game for the Lions helped lead the way to a second round win over Palos Verdes. Hannah Roberg<\/strong> and Kiana Quolas<\/strong> went 7-for-8 for Oaks Christian in the victory.<\/p>\n

Chino Hills at La Serna <\/strong>\u2013 The Lancers continue its incredible season with an eight-run fifth inning to defeat St. Joseph\u2019s. Jackie Valdez<\/strong> continues her incredible postseason with a double to open up the fifth inning outburst. Nikki Oviedo<\/strong> pitched another solid game and helped herself out with the bat.<\/p>\n

The Huskies scraped by against North to advance on Tuesday. Chino Hills Garie Blando<\/strong> and Nikki Girard <\/strong>are the team leaders in hitting. Nikki Innamorato<\/strong> continues to be tough in the circle with her second straight shutout.<\/p>\n

Warren at South Hills<\/strong> \u2013 Vanessa Molina<\/strong> and Lexi Robles<\/strong> helped get the Huskies past Lakeside to reach the quarterfinals. Sydney La Follette <\/strong>continued her mastery of opposing hitters by shutting down the Lancers.<\/p>\n

The Bears were one game away last season from being crowned champs. Tina Iosefa<\/strong> leads the team with seven homers and Franny Vaaulu <\/strong>has six homers. Vaaulu is Warren\u2019s top pitcher with 16 wins.<\/p>\n

Bishop Amat<\/strong> at Torrance \u2013 The Lancers averted disaster on Tuesday by holding off Oak Park to advance. Alma Cortez<\/strong> and Amanda Sanchez<\/strong> each contributed toward the seven runs Bishop Amat plated.<\/p>\n

The Tartars advanced with a 3-2 over Chaminade on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

DIVISION 5<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Katella at La Canada<\/strong> \u2013 Knights were able to get to Shawnee Medina<\/strong> of Keppel for three runs and quieted the Aztec bats. Melissa Biddle<\/strong> leads the team in hitting. As a team Katella has only struck out 38 times. Heather Salibury<\/strong> won her 12th<\/sup> time this year.<\/p>\n

Anna Edwards<\/strong> is beginning to swing a hot bat with two homers against Hemet. Lauren Cox<\/strong> is 3-for-6 with two doubles in the playoffs. Lauren O\u2019Leary<\/strong> continues to be dominant on the mound with another shutout.<\/p>\n

Marlborough at South El Monte <\/strong>\u2013 Jasmine Vargas<\/strong> and Salina Gonzalez<\/strong> helped lead the Eagles to another improbable win over Duarte. Demi Nguyen<\/strong> pitched well enough to help South El Monte advance to the next round.<\/p>\n

Alix Cook<\/strong> is the most dangerous Mustang hitter in the lineup and Kerry Cook<\/strong> has a sub 2.00 ERA to help Marlborough get to the quarterfinals.<\/p>\n

Arroyo<\/strong> at Savanna \u2013 Jaclyn Wagner<\/strong> showed her moxie with shaking off an early homer to help lead the Lady Knights to the quarterfinals. Timely homer by Paige Medina<\/strong> gave Arroyo the game winning runs to advance. This is the Lady Knights third straight trip to the quarters.<\/p>\n

Kelly Barbeau<\/strong> went 4-for-5 with two triples to help Rebels defeat Azusa 10-0. Tiffany Fox<\/strong> also had a good day at the plate going 3-for-5 in the win.<\/p>\n

DIVISION 6<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Mayfield<\/strong> at Kern Valley \u2013 A walk-off triple by Josie Luck<\/strong> in the eighth inning scored Kaitlin Fitzpatrick<\/strong> for the game-winning run. Katie Clancy<\/strong> pitched a shutout for the win.<\/p>\n

The Broncs outscored Frazier Park by 11 runs to advance to the quarterfinals. Katy Emery<\/strong>, Kayla Evans<\/strong> and Katie Clifton<\/strong> each accounted for two hits in the win.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
