If anyone is wondering if I ran away from that discussion yesterday, I haven’t.<\/p>\n
\nI have no vendetta against the Dodgers as their most loyalist of fans said I do.<\/p>\n
It is quite the contrary.<\/p>\n
I grew up watching the the Boys in Blue when I was a kid.<\/p>\n
I saw the infield for all ages with Garvey, Lopes, Russell and Cey.<\/p>\n
It was when Fox took over the team that my allegiance began to sway and the Dodgers didn’t feel like the team I grew up swooning over.<\/p>\n
Now it seems my colleagues believe that I have something against them.\u00a0 Well really I don’t.<\/p>\n
I just think that going to Dodger Stadium is like a “E” ticket at Disneyland.\u00a0 You get there and you just don’t know where the fights will occur.<\/p>\n
In the five times I have visited Chavez Ravine, there have been more fights in different sections of the stadium then I can count.<\/p>\n
Not to mention the how difficult is it to read a teams name on a jersey.\u00a0 Apparently real difficult if your a Dodger fan in the bleachers.<\/p>\n
In a game I went with John Scanlan, a innocent Dodger fan was wearing their St. Patty’s Day jersey while the Blue Crew are playing against the A’s.<\/p>\n
Poor guy didn’t know what hit him.\u00a0 As he got up to get something he was being berated, booed and heckled by his fellow fans who couldn’t read the name”Dodgers” on the front of the jersey.<\/p>\n
I know it happens at Anaheim as well, but it becomes quite ridiculous when you take your children or wife to game.\u00a0 How do you explain to them a Dodger fan is being led out in cuffs?<\/p>\n
