(Hacienda Heights)- Bosco Tech\u2019s Johnathan Silvas rushed for 184 yards and two touchdowns, including a late go ahead score, in the Tigers 28-24 come-from-behind victory over Wilson Friday night.<\/p>\n
Silvas\u2019 10-yard touchdown run with 1:31 remaining capped a 10-play, 98-yard drive and comeback after the Tigers trailed 24-14 with 1:59 remaining in the third.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m so proud of our boys,\u201d said Bosco Tech Head Coach Chris Shockley. \u201cOur O-line did a great job, especially pounding in that fourth quarter.\u201d<\/p>\n
Wilson had a fourth quarter opportunity to extend it lead into a two-touchdown advantage in the fourth quarter, but Josh Morales\u2019s quarterback keeper on fourth & goal was denied and B-Tecj took over on downs with a little over six minutes remaining.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe made too many mistakes,\u201d said first year Wilson coach Bob Burt. \u201cWe had four scoring opportunities that we didn\u2019t get the ball in the end zone.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Wildcats led 10-0 with 9:24 left in the second after J.R. Nelson exploded for a 75-yard touchdown run. Nelson finished with 176 yards on 18 carries, scoring on touchdown runs of 3, 24, and 75 yards.<\/p>\n
Morales completed 12 of 23 passes for 202 yards for Wilson. George Czarnack, Morales\u2019s main target of the night, totaled seven catches for 159 yards receiving.<\/p>\n
Despite the outstanding individual play of Wilson\u2019s playmakers, Coach Bob Burt was not pleased his team\u2019s missed opportunities.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s no excuse for what happened,\u201d said Burt. \u201cWe Just got outplayed in the second half.\u201d<\/p>\n
