It usually doesn’t occur, but after missing yesterday due to illness, I give you a special edition of Off The Cuff.

\nI decided my vacation will start a day earlier than thought.<\/p>\n
So this is the last edition Off The Cuff until next Friday from Indianapolis.\u00a0 It will also be my last Rants until the 27th!<\/p>\n
Here are my thoughts on the SGV Shootout.<\/p>\n
Adam Muema and AJ Powell are ripped!\u00a0 Forget about the video game style of Muema this season, he is just going to bruise his way to a huge season.\u00a0\u00a0 Powell on the other hand would not surprise me if he had 10 interceptions this season.\u00a0 It is just a shame most college scouts look at height and not heart.\u00a0 Because Powell is D-I material.<\/p>\n
Ricky Johnson looked in mid-season form for West Covina.\u00a0 After talking to head coach Mike Maggiore it wouldn’t surprise me if they ran the ball three out of four times.\u00a0 Also returning in the backfield is Jesse Illi.\u00a0 So the Bulldogs will have their version of “Thunder and Lightning”.<\/p>\n
Bulldog quarterback George Johnson looked alright.\u00a0 Only question I have is who his recievers will be if he needs to throw.<\/p>\n
Rowland coach Craig Snyder is really high on quarterback Michael Ball.\u00a0 Why shouldn’t he be.<\/p>\n
Ball only help lead the Raiders to a semi-final appearance last season in the Southeast Divison.<\/p>\n
It so funny growing up as kid and going to school or playing sports with Wilson Head Coach Brian Zavala and Rosemead Head Coach Matt Koffler.<\/p>\n
Man am I old!<\/p>\n
Little known fact about the Zavala family.\u00a0 His brother Larry can be seen on certain weekends in his Lucas Oil Pro Stock.<\/p>\n
So have I made it big now that Koffler just calls me by “Andy’s Rants”?<\/p>\n
