Good Morning!<\/span><\/p>\n T-minus-57 until \u201cThe Mid Valley Classic\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Why are we getting prep basketball news during the summer? Are there no boundaries to seasons anymore?<\/span><\/p>\n Speaking of which I accidently went into a Baskin Robbins and asked for two scoops of healthy Baseball Nut…and the guy behind the counter told me; \u201cSorry sir, its a seasonal item.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n At which point I played the \u201cdo-you-know-who-I am\u201d card…and explained to Oedipus that it was baseball season…<\/span><\/p>\n This is the kind of thing that irritates me… <\/span><\/p>\n Hey I like TC assistant Zeke Prado as well as the next guy…(So I\u2019ll move over and let you talk to the next guy)…but this statement to me on FB really grinds my gears; “Everything was great till you stole my line that i borrowed from \u2018The Most Interesting Man in the World\u2019. Yeah, he let me use it.”<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n I\u2019ve been telling people to \u201cstay thirsty\u201d longer than Obama\u2019s been promising transparency…<\/span><\/p>\n The question surfacing in Pomona these days is about how good junior Taj Teague can be…<\/span><\/p>\n Blake Griffin Update: He had breakfast this morning…I\u2019ve never seen a rookie go at breakfast the way this guy does. He just attacks those Wheaties…<\/span><\/p>\n Pedro Martinez is still collecting millions, Delino DeShields is a tour guide at the Universal Studios lot…that deal didn\u2019t quite work out for the Dodgers… <\/span><\/p>\n I hate to see Brett Favre rush himself…Instead of making a decision July 30th, he should hold off till the night before the season opener…I\u2019m sure the Minnesota Vikings will still be stupid enough to sign him then…<\/span><\/p>\n Manny comes home tonight…<\/span><\/p>\n How many times do we have to hear about the Giants Jonathan Sanchez\u2019 no-hitter? How big of a deal is one no-hitter anyway? Kevin Gross thew one and Bob Forsch threw two…<\/span><\/p>\n And I\u2019ve had it with ESPN\u2019s picture (sucks what?)\u00a0of the week: \u201cFreeze it, frame it, its your image of the week\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The Chicago Bulls are bringing Lindsey Hunter back for a 17th NBA season…Can you think of a signature moment for Hunter…I mean other than playing for 17 seasons?<\/span><\/p>\n I saw Disco Demolition Night in Chicago when I was a kid on the news.
