Edson <\/p><\/div>\n<p>By Corey Kwok<\/p>\n<p>(Arcadia)- \u00a0KJ Edson, who helped pitch the Arcadia Apaches baseball team to a third consecutive Pacific League pennant, <!--more-->26-4 record, and impressive run to the CIFSS Division 2 semifinals this past spring, has officially committed to and signed with the University of San Francisco on a partial baseball scholarship during an exclusive reception at his Arcadia residence on Saturday night in front of family, teammates, and fellow colleagues from around the area.<\/p>\n<p>Edson, blessed with puzzling sidearm submarine pitching mechanics, yielded an impressive 0.93 ERA and 12-2 record with 2 saves in 13 appearances during his final prep campaign. He also (with limited opportunities) batted .389 lodging 7 hits and a RBI in 18 AB&#8217;s.
