1.) Detroit\u2019s Justin Verlander became the first pitcher to win the Cy Young and the MVP Awards since Oakland\u2019s Dennis Eckersley in 1992.<\/p>\n

2.) The only player on UCLA\u2019s roster who has experienced a victory over USC is Walnut alum Sean Sheller \u2013 a sixth year senior. He was a redshirt freshman in 2006 when UCLA upset USC 13-9.<\/p>\n

3.) USC has beaten UCLA 11 of the last 12 years.<\/p>\n
