Came away impressed.<\/p>\n<p>6.\u00a0 Imari Brown (Duarte) \u2013 Help lead the Falcons to a semi-final appearance in the playoffs.<\/p>\n<p>7.\u00a0 Kari Korver (Valley Christian) \u2013 Pure shooter from outside that can bury three-pointers all night long.<\/p>\n<p>8.\u00a0 Leeah Powell (Bishop Amat) \u2013 Hard-working rebounder plays taller than her 5-6 height.<\/p>\n<p>9.\u00a0 Alyson Lock (Keppel) \u2013 Lock was instrumental in the resurgence of the Aztec program.<\/p>\n<p>10.Nisja Bass (Mayfair) \u2013 Finished last season with 13 points and two assists per game for the Monsoons.<\/p>\n<p>11.Kandyce Smith (La Salle) \u2013 Injured early in the season in 2010-11, Smith returned just in time in the playoffs to guide the Lancers to a quarterfinal appearance.<\/p>\n<p>12.Ashli Baddorf (Covina) \u2013 Former Covina coach Matt Kearns raved about Baddorf who was consistent last year.<\/p>\n<p>13.Erika Williams (Diamond Ranch) \u2013 One of the better point-guards you will see all year long.<\/p>\n<p>14.Gina Henderson (Monrovia) \u2013 Henderson can go on a streak where she accounts for all the teams points in a quarter.<\/p>\n<p>15.Jeana Magana (Whittier) \u2013 Averaged 15 points per game and dropped 28 against West Ranch in the playoffs.<\/p>\n<p>16.Taylor Jackson (San Dimas) \u2013 12 points per game and 1<sup>st<\/sup> team all-league.<\/p>\n<p>17.Priscilla Rodriguez (Cantwell-Sacred Heart) \u2013 Is one of two returning players. Can pass and shoot.<\/p>\n<p>18.Megan Rutherford (Pasadena) \u2013 Was in the shadow of Taylor Crockum, but still averaged eight points a game.<\/p>\n<p>19.Ella Stepanian (Crescenta Valley) \u2013 The 5\u201911 sophomore could lead the Falcons back to the top of the Pacific League.<\/p>\n<p>20.Courtney Chen (La Canada) \u2013 Chen is the general in a young offense that has only three seniors.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Along with posting the Top 20 teams in the area, the Mid will now post a players to watch list for the basketball season.
