Arcadia rebounded from Friday night\u2019s loss to Bishop Amat by upsetting Notre Dame Sherman Oaks in the Third Place game of the Lady Knights Classic on Saturday night, 41-35.<\/p>\n
Playing without Melody Chang for long stretches in the first half, the Apaches still took a seven point lead into the break, thanks enpart to Julissa Aguirre\u2019s six points. She also finished with a team-high 11 points.<\/p>\n
Aguirre played a big role on defense stopping the inside game of the Knights.<\/p>\n
Feudi Asemota led Notre Dame in scoring with eight points, most coming from the inside.<\/p>\n

LA CANADA 36 LOS ALTOS 25<\/p>\n
The Spartans improved to 4-4 and have its long winning streak of the season at three after jumping out to a 11-1 lead and holding off a third quarter rally by Los Altos to take fifth place in the Lady Knights Classic, 36-25.<\/p>\n
Lauren Barsamian scored a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds in leading La Canada.<\/p>\n
The Conquerors battled back in the second half cutting the lead to as close as six late in the game as Natalie Edwards scored.<\/p>\n
