Good Morning!<\/p>\n

T-minus-35 \u00a0until \u201cThe Mid Valley Classic\u201d<\/p>\n

Driving into New York yesterday I looked to the west and saw something I\u2019ve never seen before\u2026I can tell you it wasn\u2019t corn\u2026It wasn\u2019t farm land\u2026after 2,500 miles I\u2019ve seen plenty of that\u2026<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t a really cool truck stop featuring showers, a diner, a chapel, and every other necessity possible under the sun\u2026<\/p>\n

I looked to the west and I didn\u2019t see a truck, I didn\u2019t see Cleveland, and I didn\u2019t see a state trooper hiding ready to pop somebody with a ticket\u2026<\/p>\n

What I saw was an extremely large dark, dark cloud, spinning its way down from the sky\u2026to its right a very narrow dark, dark cloud had already touched down\u2026<\/p>\n

Nice\u2026<\/p>\n

Then of course it became clear\u2026tornado\u2026%#!*&#!! TORNADO!!!<\/p>\n

Oh yeah, and there is an accident up ahead so the interstate, the interstate I\u2019m paying for at every toll crossing, is backed up and not moving\u2026<\/p>\n

I\u2019m sure the twisters took this into account, I\u2019m sure they paused, I\u2019m sure they said to themselves \u201clets not scare those people from California\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n

The wife is aware, the daughters are not\u2026I\u2019m trying to play it cool and not over react\u2026but then again it\u2019s a blanking tornado and I\u2019m stuck in traffic\u2026<\/p>\n

I understand things could be worse\u2026I could have been foolish enough to illegally cross the North Korean border, I could be a San Francisco 49er fan waiting for Michael Crabtree to sign\u2026but I\u2019m not\u2026I\u2019m waiting to die either by cyclone or heart attack\u2026<\/p>\n

Suddenly the traffic loosens, we start to move\u2026and I punch it soon as I get an opening\u2026<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll take a ticket, I\u2019ll even take an earthquake, but I\u2019m not going out by tornado\u2026Homey don\u2019t play that, as an old friend would say\u2026<\/p>\n

On the other hand outside of the American Recovery Act narrowing lanes and holding things up, Buffalo was okay…Upstate New York was drop dead gorgeous and surprisingly very affordable, then again when the temperature drops below 10 in October, housing prices will level off\u2026<\/p>\n

Currently in Boston,\u00a0drove a toll road with no exits all the way in from the New York border\u2026Kind of wondering what that does to the rest of the state\u2019s economy but hey, its Kerry Country\u2026<\/p>\n
