(South El Monte) – Gabrielino endured another marathon…and yet prevailed again, beating South El Monte 3-2 in 9 innings Friday as Vinnie Albelo braved the 103 pitch journey to earn another hard fought win.<\/p>\n
The Eagles of Gabrielino keep their MVL mark uninterrupted at 3-0 and have won all three through extra-inning battles, edging El Monte 3-2 last Friday\u00a0 in 15 innings before squeaking by Mountain View 2-1 this past Wednesday and against South 3-2 in Friday’s nine stanza affair.<\/p>\n
