T<\/strong>-Minus-6 until \u201cMid Valley Classic\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Game Sixteen: September 8, 1995 at Arroyo<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n It was the break out game for Knights legend Kenny Smith. The sophomore quarterback\u00a0 went 17 of 29 for 250-yards and brought his team back from a 21-10 fourth quarter deficit for the 24-21 victory.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n However, redemption belonged to Arroyo running back Felipe Rivas. After fumbling three times in the first half, one leading to a 77-yard return for touchdown by Temple City\u2019s Jeff Stubner, Rivas scored the game winner from a yard out by breaking through the TC line.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Brian Betts led the Rams attack and all rushers with 101-yards and two touchdowns.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Padres shut out the Dodgers, the Padres…Not cool…When is somebody going to hold Joe Torre accountable?…Maybe he needs to spend less time drinking his green tea and giving more thought about wrapping up the West.<\/span><\/p>\n It was a rough night on Thursday, and I\u2019m sure he was really sore on Friday, but Arcadia\u2019s Garrett Tuck is one of my all time favorites…<\/span><\/p>\n I never dreamed the day would come when Leonard Pope would get released by the Arizona Cardinals…<\/span><\/p>\n Los Altos made mistakes last night, no doubt, but how much credit has to go to San Dimas defensive guy Brian Mustain?<\/span><\/p>\n Somebody find the West Covina football team…<\/span><\/p>\n We\u2019re just as guilty as everybody else for not giving Baldwin Park quarterback Manny Salcedo his props… <\/span><\/p>\n The best thing I heard last night was San Dimas\u2019s Dillon Corona (think of the fun we are going to have with this name) only being a sophomore.<\/span><\/p>\n You know what guy cracks me up? The dude with the clean uniform half way through the fourth quarter who starts yelling and cursing at his teammates covered in mud and blood about it not being over as they trail 28-0…<\/span><\/p>\n Okay…<\/span><\/p>\n Why do I call San Dimas stud Ryan Kohler \u201cSaint Dredd\u201d? Because by the fourth quarter last night most of the Conquerer defenders were dreading this guy. (I spelled it \u201cDredd\u201d as in \u201cJudge Dredd\u201d, as in Kohler \u201cIs the Law\u201d)…Kid had a great night… <\/span><\/p>\n Is Charter Oak going to rotate quarterbacks Josiah Thropay and Travis Santiago all season?
