4. Notre Dame quarterback Tommy Rees pleads guilty to misdemeanor resisting law enforcement and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and receives 50 hours of community service and 11 months of probation.<\/p>\n

5. Penn State running back Silas Redd (1241 yards last year) is considering transferring to USC.<\/p>\n
