(Bell Gardens) – Johnny Garcia returned the opening kick off\u00a095 yards for a touchdown\u00a0and El Rancho\u00a0never looked back in\u00a0a 52-28 \u00a0win over Bell Gardens Friday night.<\/p>\n
El Rancho scored early and often. Garcia\u00a0also caught\u00a0an 11 yard scoring strike from Joey Sanchez with 3:20 left in the first quarter. Sanchez struck again with 1:01 remaining, this time\u00a0to Javier Carrillo.<\/p>\n
The Dons scored twice in the second quarter on runs by Garcia\u00a0(32 yards) and Sanchez (one yard). Sanchez got his third touchdown of the contest\u00a0in the third quarter, a 16 yard dash\u00a0off the left end with 7:58 remaining.<\/p>\n
El Rancho’s\u00a0final touchdown\u00a0of the evening came with 5:59 left when Sanchez found Ryan Aruajo for a four yard score. Derrick Harshbarger also added a 27 yard field goal.<\/p>\n
For BG, Jorge Remigio rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries. His scores came on runs of\u00a021, 79 and six yards. Sophomore Jordan Preciado electrified the crowd with an 85 yard kick off return for a touchdown.<\/p>\n
