The Vikings’ Jose \u201cNacho\u201d Zamora countered with 108 yards and two scores of his own but it wasn’t enough to offset the Dons devastating ground attack. Don LeGro’s crew gained nearly 340 yards on the ground.<\/p>\n
Sergio Gonzalez scored first for Sierra Vista on a 23 yard touchdown jaunt. Gonzalez had 58 yards rushing overall.<\/p>\n
The Dons took a 27-14 advantage into the break as Jones scored twice in the second quarter to finish long drives.<\/p>\n
It was the Vikes first loss of the year as they dropped to 2-1. Sierra Vista improved to 1-1.<\/p>\n
