Rosemead quarterback Everado Camacho is becoming problem…for opposing defenses.<\/p><\/div>\n

(Rosemead)- It didn\u2019t take Rosemead long to assert itself against Warren, and it didn\u2019t take long for local eyes to realize the Panthers have something more than a strong defense, but also a heartbeat offense.<\/p>\n

Mead scored twice during a two minute stretch in the first quarter to build a 14-0 lead over the visiting Bears and took a 35-7 victory on Friday night at Marinelli Stadium.<\/p>\n

The first Rosemead score came in traditional fashion; a 51-yard march, using eight plays, that hit a crescendo when Phillip Luong went in from 8-yards with 8:18 to play in the opening quarter.<\/p>\n

Two minutes later quarterback Everardo Camacho flexed his arm strength and went 74-yards over the top to Oscar Noriega and the Panthers led 14-0.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re a good football team, but we\u2019re young,\u201d said Rosemead HC Marc Paramo. \u201cWe\u2019re going to get better.\u201d<\/p>\n

Luong made things better with a 5-yard scoring run at the start of the third.<\/p>\n

Warren broke through later in the quarter when fullback J.R. Vaautu scored on a fourth and four run from the Mead 19.<\/p>\n

With the gap narrowed to 21-7 the Paramo\u2019s defense tightened. Midway through the fourth the Panthers brought the wood and linebacker Dominic Salas recovered and returned a fumble 26-yards to make it 28-7.<\/p>\n

In the final minutes Alec Zavala, who had a rough night offensively, broke free and went 55-yards to close the scoring.<\/p>\n
