If you love football, it might be because of this guy. Steve Sabol, 1942-2012, was the president of NFL Films.<\/p><\/div>\n

Steve Sabol, and his father Ed Sabol, created NFL Films and changed the way America saw football. They are a large reason why the NFL supplanted baseball as the country’s favorite sport. Ed Sabol was recently elected to the NFL Hall of Fame for his contributions.<\/p>\n

Steve Sabol, 69, died Tuesday of brain cancer.<\/p>\n
