Northview 20, Pomona 10<\/strong><\/p>\n The Vikings (4-2, 2-0) extended their winning streak to three games as they took a half-game lead in the Valle Vista Standings with a win over the Red Devils (1-4, 0-1) Friday night at Pomona High.<\/p>\n Running back Javon Taylor rushed 30 times for 202 yards and scored a touchdown in the first half. Quarterback Victor Garcia scored a touchdown in the second half, putting the Vikings up for good.<\/p>\n Woods Kheenyon provided the only touchdown for the Red Devils, an 80-yard kickoff return to start the second half that tied the game 10-10.<\/p>\n San Dimas 47,Baldwin Park 7<\/strong><\/p>\n The Saints (5-1, 2-0) took advantages of three turnovers by the Braves (0-6, 0-2) as they opened Valle Vista League play with a win over the Braves Friday night at San Dimas.<\/p>\n Quarterback Josh Avila scored four touchdowns in the win. He threw a 27-yard scoring pass to Cody McNeal halfway through the first and a nine-yard strike to Noah Reep late in the second. Avila also ran for two touchdown in the second half.<\/p>\n Quarterback Michael Moran accounted for the Braves’ lone score, a one-yard quarterback keeper in the second quarter that cut the Saints’ to 13-7 with less than five minutes in the half.
