Josh Nelson recovered a fumble in the end zone in the third quarter for a touchdown to start the onslaught.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 <!--more-->Moses Vega ran for two touchdowns and threw for another including a 29 yard jaunt in the first quarter to even the game at seven. Vega also broke off a 28 yard TD run in the second half and hit Keith Hawk on a five yard scoring toss as the Wildcats pulled away.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 The Wildcats, who finished 0-10 last year, improved to 2-0 under first year Coach Brian Zavala. Wilson travels to Schurr next week.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Pasadena 19 Jordan 16<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 Charles Hendricks fell on a fumble with 1:36 left in the contest and the Bulldogs ran out the clock form there to beat Jordan by three. It was the first win of the season for Pasadena and the first for new Head Coach Mike McFarland as the Bulldogs improved to 1-2.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 Next week Pasadena takes the week off before beginning Pacific League play with Hoover on October 2.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Workman 14 South El Monte 7<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 Workman used a strong defense and the running of Kalin Bradford to hold off South El Monte 14-7.
