Bergstrom Stadium.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Panthers took the opening kickoff to midfield but got called back to the nine yard line after a block in the back. Rosemead ended up with a three and out.<\/p>\n<p>Knights got their chance with the ball and Aholoka went to work, getting a majority of the carries on the drive and capping it off with a four -yard touchdown run at 6:06 in the first quarter.<\/p>\n<p>Both defenses stood strong most of the first half with Mead getting on the board with a 51-yard field goal from Stephen Cansino making it 7-3 going into half.<\/p>\n<p>Late in the third quarter Aholoka took the handoff from Nathan Coto 36-yards to paydirt to put the Knights up 14-3.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Arroyo had tricks up their sleeve when Jesus Calvillo took the pitch and passed it 30-yards down field to David Cotero, setting up a nine yard treat for Coto who made it 21-3.<\/p>\n<p>Panthers Steven San Miguel took the returning kickoff 66-yards down field setting up a short field for Everardo Camacho who took the rock in from three yards out cutting the lead to 21-10.<\/p>\n<p>Rosemead got the ball back with time left but wasn\u2019t able to convert a fourth and one, and Arroyo ran out the clock out with Aholoka.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Arroyo\u2019s offense was led by Aholoka who finished with 42-touches for 278-yards and two touchdowns. Coto went 10 of 19 for 84-yards and two interceptions and he also had 57-yards on the ground. Aaron Landry was a standout on defense as regular in the Rosemead backfield and a sack on the night.<\/p>\n<p>Mead without much offense was led by quarterback Camacho who went 5 of 12 for 29-yards and 85-yards on the ground.<\/p>\n<p>Rosemead had studs on defense with Dominic Salas and San Miguel each picking a Coto pass.
