Christian Pearson returned an interception 77 yards and B.J. Murrillo also\u00a0picked off three passes to thrwart the Crusaders.\u00a0Pearson’s third quarter interception\u00a0gave Bishop Diego a 21-7 lead and more importantly stopped a Village Christian drive.<\/p>\n
Jack Gregson’s four yard touchdown run with just over three minutes left in the game sealed it for the\u00a0Cardinals.<\/p>\n
For Gregson\u00a0it was his second\u00a0touchdown of the game. He also scored earlier in the contest on a five yard run.\u00a0Abel Gonzalez got the Cards on the board first\u00a0with a 19 yard run and an Enzo Troiani field goal gave Bishop Diego an early 9-0 advantage.<\/p>\n
Jesse Henckel hit\u00a0Roman Arteaga on a 39 yard touchdown pass to get Village Christian within 9-7 at the half.<\/p>\n
Gabe Molina\u00a0Aidan Williams on a 39 yard pass play to ge the ball deep into Village territory. Three plays later\u00a0Gregson\u00a0scored for a 15-7 lead. The defense took over from there.<\/p>\n
