Overall it averages out to 16 points per game. The only other team to play 14 games, Southeast Division Champion Downey, gave up 269.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Beltran oversaw a defense that pitched two shutouts, against Pioneer and Diamond Ranch, and allowed less than ten points in six of the 14 games. They allowed just nine points to a Westlake team that averaged over 26 points per game on the season.<\/p>\n<p>La Serna also led the Southeast Division in interceptions with 13 and sacks with 44. They finished eighth overall in total tckles with 747.<\/p>\n<p>A lot of defenses had good moments. Some got fat off weak opponents.
