Arroyo should bounce back, but the class of the Old School is clearly Monrovia. The M-Town faithful probably don\u2019t want to talk about it, but we\u2019re sure they\u2019re thinking the eighth time may be the charm. The Moors are winning but not dominating and the Mats have a big one to play after a bye week. Note to SG\/Alham: Fear Schurr in the Almont. Do they have to share the food court since the Brawl for the Mall ended in a tie? Old School Mid Valley appears weekly at www.midvalleysports.com<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

1.) Monrovia: If the Mid-Valley Division wasn\u2019t fearing the Cats before San Dimas, they are fearing them now. One defensive coordinator said after seeing Nick Bueno play; \u201cI forgot to breath for ten minutes.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

2.) Alhambra: Slowly getting some momentum back, still not firing on all cylinders.<\/span><\/p>\n

3.) Arroyo: Probably should drop, Singiser probably would agree they should drop, but where would they drop to?<\/span><\/p>\n

4.) San Gabriel: Matadors now 2-2, get week off to prepare for San Marino.<\/span><\/p>\n

5.) Rosemead: Yes they have a win, but we think Koffler would prefer to have everyone back healthy instead with league play looming.<\/span><\/p>\n

6.) Temple City: Rams go as far as Sutton, O\u2019Malley, Jara, Truong, and Smith can pull them.<\/span><\/p>\n

7.) Arcadia: Get ready to meet Rodney Arnett, he\u2019s only a sophomore.<\/span><\/p>\n

8.) El Monte: Hard luck Lions getting excellent play out of Adrian Ramirez and Sergio Sanchez.<\/span><\/p>\n

9.) Gabrielino: Showdown at EM on October 16th will determine playoff berth.<\/span><\/p>\n

10.) South El Monte: Anthony Molina nice wheels, best part of \u201909 so far for Eagles.<\/span><\/p>\n

11.) Mt. View: Jesus Ordaz keeps producing for hard luck Vikes.<\/span><\/p>\n

12.) Duarte: The Falcons long season looks like it is going to get a lot longer.<\/span><\/p>\n
