Elijah Asante began the season last year as head coach but was fired\u00a0mid season.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Bell Gardens and El Rancho have a pretty good rivalry going on and Rick and I had many heated battles. When he found out that I had been let go at Bell Gardens he contacted me about coming aboard.
