Interesting a recent article on Yahoo said that both Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow struggled at quarterback for the New York Jets last season. Tebow threw eight passes and completed six in 2012. I don\u2019t call that struggling, I call that a decision to not play a playoff winning quarterback from the season before.<\/p>\n

Last Add Gays in Football: They should be able to play, absolutely…But the hang up for the teams employing them or playing with them at any level comes in the locker room. At Mid Valley Sports we have guys of all different stripes, and in the past gals too, but its worked…If we had to take our clothes off in front of each other that would be a different story.<\/p>\n

Stats show that 1,800 girls played high school football in America last season, I don\u2019t know for sure but I\u2019m going to guess that all of them dressed, showered, and changed in a different locker room.<\/p>\n

Why? Because it wouldn\u2019t be appropriate. I\u2019m not saying any of the guys would attack, molest, or harass a girl in the locker room…but are you telling me they\u2019re not going to be checking her out as she changes and\/or goes to the showers? If we all have normal instincts, normal reactions, and everybody is just the same why should it be any different?<\/p>\n

If my 15 year old daughter was a kicker and had to share a locker room with a 6-5 275 pound tackle checking her out s a result of normal instinct then there will be a problem… and she would feel very uncomfortable. If my 15 year old son had the same offensive linemen checking him out it would be the same.<\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t make you or someone managing this new dynamic a homophobe to ask these questions. When you sexualize the locker room you have potential for big problems and just saying its 2013 and we should all be beyond this is ridiculous. (See Jay Mohr, Steve Hartman, and nearly all of the sports talk world.)<\/p>\n

I have no problems with your opinions share them, you don\u2019t have to agree with me…but spare me\/us and each other… the \u201cyou\u2019re a homophobe\u201d charge…its a waste of time.<\/p>\n
